Michele Morel - Louisiana Judge and Animal Advocate
A legal professional with more than two decades of experience, Judge Michele Morel serves as a Louisiana state district judge in Hahnville, Louisiana. Her position requires she oversee cases ranging in severity from unpaid home association fees to murder. Furthermore, Judge Michele Morel serves as a judge on the drug court and sits on the River Parishes Juvenile Justice Commission as secretary. Before becoming a judge, she worked as a Terrebonne Parish assistant district attorney while maintaining a separate civil practice.
Beyond her legal practice and service as a judge, Judge Michele Morel spent years teaching up-and-coming graduate students through the Louisiana State University Paul M. Herbert School of Law Trial Advocacy Training Program. She also instructed the Deposition Skills Class through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
